GroundScope’s Sustainability Plan

Detailed below are GroundScopes key milestones to achieve Net Zero by 2025.

2020

–  In 2020 GroundScope took the strategic decision to achieve Net Zero by 2025

– Although we appreciate that achieving this objective across all the global markets we operate in would be challenging, we felt that by setting plans in place to achieve Net Zero in 5 years’ time would ensure that we would be much closer to achieving our ambitions of Net Zero if we started the process as early as possible.

Q1 2021

–   Because of the negative financial impact of Covid – 19 on all our suppliers we have asked that they focus on ensuring at least part of their fleet is Green as soon as possible.

 – GroundScope key focus after launching our new booking system is to secure global carbon neutral content from both our existing supplier base and new market entrants in 2021.

Q2 2021

–  As part of our commitment to achieving Net Zero for our clients we report total client monthly CO2 emissions in our client MI reports and highlight CO2 emissions of the supplier to the traveller at point of booking

–  Launched our new Green Leaf system on our new booking platform clearly highlighting the   green credentials of our Service Partners and making it easy for travellers to identify the greenest option available for their trip.
